A group of attorneys and law students from the Oklahoma City Chapter had a unique opportunity to visit Tinker Air Force Base on October 17th. Accompanied by Air Force Major and FBA member Brent Dishman, the group first received a driving tour of the base. They then were given guided access to a KC-135 military refueling aircraft. The group had a very engaging talk with the pilots and crew members about their missions around the world. After seeing the aircraft, the group was permitted to view the Air Force Judge Advocate General office and courtroom. While in the courtroom, the group enjoyed an informative lecture and Q&A session regarding the JAG Corps and legal proceedings both on and on base. The participants reported that they enjoyed the tour and learning about the varied types of legal work that are performed at Tinker.
