Spotlight on Carrie McKee -- Human Resources Administrator, Western District of Oklahoma

Posted by Judge Robert Bacharach on 12/01/2011

The FBA - OKC Chapter puts its spotlight on CARRIE MCKEE. Carrie is someone who works tirelessly in the Court Clerk’s office every day with a huge smile, endless energy, and enthusiasm that is contagious to everyone around. Carrie is an invaluable asset to the Court Family, and she is a perfect subject for the inaugural "spotlight" segment of the FBA - OKC Chapter News & Announcements.

Carrie has been married to Roger McKee for 31 years and they live in Prague, where Roger was born and raised. Carrie and Roger are very proud of their three wonderful children and are doting grandparents for their first grandchild, who is nearly two years old.

Carrie earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Oklahoma in liberal studies and a Master’s Degree from East Central University in Human Resource Administration.

Carrie’s experience is extensive, as she has worked for a broad range of attorneys ranging from a solo practitioner to Crowe & Dunlevy, one of the state’s largest law firms.

She came to the courthouse in 1991 as the Secretary to the Court Clerk, Bob Dennis. Carrie was a wonderful secretary and remained as Bob Dennis’ loyal and hard-working secretary until 1998, when she was promoted to the position of Human Resources Administrator. She has excelled in this position ever since.

Carrie’s favorite things about the courthouse are the people and the leadership. She is especially appreciative of the congeniality and respectfulness of the work environment within the courthouse.

The FBA - OKC Chapter is also very appreciative of Carrie. And, as a sign of that appreciation, it puts its spotlight on our favorite Human Resources Administrator: Carrie McKee.
